Letter From the President
Welcome to Alpha Phi!
I am excited to welcome you to learn more about the Iota Epsilon chapter of Alpha Phi at Kettering University. Here, you will find information about our ideals and the sisterhood that
binds us together.
As you first enter college, you may believe that Greek life is not for you. However, the Greek life here at Kettering University is much different than what you see on TV or movies! The truth is, sororities are an excellent way to develop leadership skills, give back to the community, build relationships with new people, and contribute to several different philanthropic organizations. These opportunities will set you above and beyond the rest of your peers after graduation by preparing you professionally, socially, and academically in addition to your earned degree. You will walk away with not only your degree, but a whole sisterhood behind you, supporting you
wherever you decide to go.
At the heart of Alpha Phi is our four core values: character, innovation, generosity, and sisterhood. Character blossoms through tailored programs and leadership opportunities within our chapter. Our sisters demonstrate innovation within and beyond Alpha Phi, by holding pivotal roles in various campus organizations. Generosity is a hallmark of our sisterhood, evolving with each passing year. Whether brainstorming community service projects or organizing
philanthropic events, our sisters are dedicated to giving back. This sisterhood is a lifelong bond. I have seen myself and fellow sisters develop excellent leadership and communication skills, grow confidence in themselves and what they are capable of, and learn the importance of being a good role model to the people around them.
As Chapter President, I'm privileged to represent this incredible group of women. Alpha Phi has urged me to strive to be my best authentic self, and I've watched my fellow sisters rise to this challenge. Each sister brings a unique perspective and fresh ideas to our chapter. Navigating a male-dominated field can be daunting, but these women have consistently supported me, and they'll do the same for you. Alpha Phi has been a constant source of support and motivation,
and I'm honored to stand for an organization led by such remarkable women.
I'm delighted you've found your way to our Alpha Phi home! We're eager for you to explore our chapter and get to know you better. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions!
Love & aoe,
Kyla Meyle
